Canigest is a highly palatable complementary feeding stuff for dogs and cats combining a probiotic, prebiotics, glutamine, kaolin and pectin. It is particularly suitable for feeding to dogs to assist in the nutritional management of digestive tract upsets.

Canigest is a probiotic, prebiotic, glutamine, kaolin and  pectin formula designed for dogs and cats with digestive  tract disturbances and gastrointestinal diseases.

Composition:

• Rapeseed Oil, Kaolin, Fructo Oligosaccharides, Mannan Oligosaccharides, Pectin, Glutamine, Roast Meat Flavouring.
• Enterococcus Faecium (NCIMB 10415) Per g 6.6 x 100cfu , Per kg  =6.6 x 10 cfu

Features: 

Probiotic:

• Enterococcus Faecium is a lactic acid  bacteria which inhibit the growth and adhesion of a  range of enteropathogens: such as enterotoxigenic  E.Coli, salmonellae etc. Therefore useful as an  antidiarrheal agent.
• Enhances immune function in young dogs.
• Has the function of improving the intestinal microbial balance.
• Improves protective immune responses against various  infections

Prebiotics:

• Non digestible fibre foods that act as a  substrate for beneficial bacteria that inhabit the  natural flora of the gut.

Kaolin:

• Is a natural clay which absorbs excess water;
• Provides a high surface area to adsorb and  neutralise bacterial toxins.

Pectin:

• Is dietary fibre with high fermentability.
• Coats and soothes gastrointestinal membranes
• Helps reduce volume of stool and improves stool quality

Glutamine:

• Aids in the development of intestinal epithelial cells.
