Vetconazole – 20 mg Solution
Composition:
Each ml contains:
- Itraconazole BP 20 mg
- Palatable syrup base 20 mg
Features:
- Second generation Antifungals, Azole
- For Systemic fungal infections
- Activity is (10-100 times greater)
- Infections treated by itraconazole include cryptococcosis (cats), and dermatophyte infections (dogs and cats).
Indications:
- Fungal infection of skin
- Claws and bone infection
- Respiratory infections
- Most widely used for treatment of Cryptococcus in cats
- Dermatophyte infection in dogs and cats.
Dosage: 5-10 mg/kg body weight
